Dr Jimaima Kailawadoko-Matanaicake is the Country Manager for Cure Kids Fiji, supporting child health research and programmes in rheumatic heart disease and oxygen therapy. She holds an MBBS from the Fiji School of Medicine and a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Sydney. Her previous roles includes serving as Fiji's National Influenza Surveillance Officer with WHO and as a senior Medical Officer in this Ministry of Health and Medical Services' Digital Health Unit during the COVID-19 response. Her professional interests include surveillance systems, digital health, linked data and strengthening local research capacity.
