Tanya is a Senior Scientist at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney who has worked and studied as a laboratory research and development scientist for over 20 years in private industry, regulatory, hospital and academic environments. During the last ten years, Tanya’s work has focused on evaluating and implementing diagnostics among people living with HCV. Tanya is currently a Research Manager for the RAPID Point of Care Research Consortium for infectious diseases in the Asia Pacific focused on the accelerating the scale up of point of care testing for infectious disease. Tanya is also a member of the emergency response team supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander COVID-19 Point of Care Testing Program reaching remote communities across Australia.
