Dr. Ya-Jankey Jagne is a researcher at the MRC Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Her research focuses on understanding immune responses to childhood vaccinations and infectious diseases. She earned her PhD investigating humoral and cellular immune responses to live attenuated influenza vaccines. Currently, her work explores immune correlates of protection in Gambian schoolchildren to support the development of vaccines against Streptococcus pyogenes.
