JDI has a background within immunology and has since 2001 been involved in infections and immunology and in taking vaccines from pre-clinical development to clinical development. JDI has characterized the immune response against several pathogens, and developed vaccines against TB (phaseII), Polio (Phase III), group A streptococcus (GAS) and Chlamydia trachomatis (trachoma) (Phase I, 2022).
