Haibo Yu joined the University of Wollongong as a Lecturer in the School of Chemistry in July 2010. He attended the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) for undergraduate and his PhD study was carried out at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zürich with Prof Wilfred F. van Gunsteren. He then did postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Prof Qiang Cui and the University of Chicago with Prof Benoit Roux in the United States. His research interests focus on developing and applying theoretical and computational models to understand the structure-dynamics-function relationship in complex biomolecular systems.
