Iam a bachelor of nursing science student and experienced nurse with over 12 years of clinical experience specializing in cardiovascular nursing and echocardiography. As a lead echo nurse, I contributed to a large-scale rheumatic heart disease screening project in Northern Uganda involving more than 170,000 children aged 5-17 years, focusing on the early detection of RHD using echocardiographic assessment. I am passionate about RHD prevention, early detection, education, and quality cardiac care. My professional interests iclude RHD screenig, cardiovascular diagnostics, nursing leadership, community health, and improving access to quality cardiac services in Africa.
