- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

As a specialist in infectious diseases, I am strongly committed to advancing clinical research and improving patient care. I am currently a Clinical Research Fellow in Prof. Steven Tong’s group at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, University of Melbourne, and an Honorary Fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. My research focuses on leveraging electronic health records (EHR) to enhance the design and feasibility of pragmatic randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in infectious diseases. Specifically, I study acute, toxin-mediated infections—including necrotizing fasciitis and toxic shock syndrome—combining retrospective analyses with the development of EHR-integrated pilot trials. I bring practical expertise in clinical epidemiology, antibiotic stewardship, and infection control analytics.
