I am an Assistant Professor at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. My research focuses on the role of the immune response and the tissue microenvironment in the transition of Group A Strep from colonizer to pathogenic agent. Currently, I use omics approaches to study clinical samples and employ tailored organotypic models to perform mechanistic studies.
